Empowering Communities Together

Our Mission

At The Reframe Institute, we believe in a world where individuals engage across differences. Our mission is to foster understanding and repair generational wounds through community-driven initiatives.

Reframe Journeys: Pilgrimages to Historical Sites

Participants engage in guided reflection, cross-affinity dialogue, and storytelling practices to unpack intergenerational trauma while envisioning a path toward equity.

Target Audience: Community members, educators, youth leaders, and allies.

Outcomes:

  • Increased historical understanding and cultural affirmation.
  • Healing-centered dialogue across racial and generational lines.
  • Blueprint creation for dismantling systemic inequities at home, work, and in civic spaces.

Training: Interrupting the Four I’s of Oppression

A training series for schools, nonprofits, and corporations on recognizing and interrupting oppression at the Individual, Interpersonal, Institutional, and Ideological levels. Sessions use case studies, role plays, and organizational audits.

Target Audience: Educators, administrators, HR leaders, district and nonprofit staff.

Outcomes:

  • Shared language and frameworks to identify oppression.
  • Actionable strategies for policy and practice changes.
  • Stronger accountability systems to advance equity.

Civic Power Labs

Hands-on workshops equipping participants with the tools to mobilize communities, build coalitions, and advocate for policy change. Incorporates storytelling, power-mapping, campaign planning, and public narrative.

Target Audience: Youth activists, grassroots leaders, faith-based communities, and civic organizations.

Outcomes:

  • Skills in organizing, advocacy, and coalition-building.
  • Increased civic engagement and leadership pathways.
  • Tangible campaigns or initiatives launched in participants’ communities.

The Freeman’s Circle: Corporate Reframe Partnership

A social responsibility initiative where corporations partner with The Reframe Institute to donate a portion of goods, services, or profits directly to local communities. Includes workshops for employees on equity and belonging.

Target Audience: Corporate partners, philanthropic leaders, local residents.

Outcomes:

  • Redistribution of resources to historically excluded communities.
  • Corporate accountability tied to measurable equity impact.
  • Bridges built between businesses and local neighborhoods.

Community Resources & Engagement Division (C.R.E.D.)

The Community Resource & Engagement Division (C.R.E.D.) exists to provide holistic community support and essential resources to individuals and families across our region. Through accessible services, thoughtful outreach initiatives, and meaningful engagement, we help people build resilience, strengthen well-being, and experience greater peace of mind.

Our work is made possible through strong collaboration with corporate partners, volunteers, donors, and local networks who believe in collective care.
C.R.E.D. uplifts, empowers, and connects community members with the resources and relationships they need to thrive.
